Who We Are
GP Appointment provides secure online GP consultations, prescriptions, and related healthcare services through licensed Irish Medical Council GPs.
Eligibility & Registration
- You must be 16 years or older to use our services.
- Patients under 16 must have a parent or legal guardian present during the consultation.
- You agree to provide accurate, complete information when booking or consulting.
Scope of Service
Our platform offers:
- Online GP appointments Ireland (phone or video consultations)
- Prescriptions and treatment refills (subject to clinical assessment)
- Medical certificates: sick leave, fit-to-work, travel health declarations
- Out of hours GP availability evenings and weekends
Not for Emergencies
GP Appointment is not suitable for medical emergencies.
If you need urgent or emergency care, call 112 or 999 or attend your nearest Accident & Emergency (A&E).
Booking & Payment
- Appointments are booked via https://gpappointment.ie.
- Prices are displayed in EUR and include consultation only (pharmacy charges are separate).
- Payment is due at the time of booking through our secure online payment system.
- You will receive a confirmation email once payment is processed successfully.
Prescriptions & Pharmacy Charges
- Prescriptions are issued only at the GP’s clinical discretion.
- We are not responsible for pharmacy fees, product availability, or dispensing decisions.
- Repeat or controlled medications may require in-person assessment depending on regulations.
Cancellations & Rescheduling
- You may cancel or reschedule your appointment up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior may incur a cancellation fee.
- Missed or completed consultations are non-refundable (see Refund Policy).

User Obligations
When using GP Appointment, you agree to:
- Provide truthful and accurate health information.
- Follow your doctor’s medical advice.
- Use the service only for lawful, non-emergency purposes.

Medical Information Disclaimer
- All consultations are carried out by licensed Irish GPs.
- The advice you receive is based on the information you provide.
- We do not guarantee diagnosis, cure, or treatment outcome.
- Content on https://gpappointment.ie is for general information and is not a substitute for professional medical care.
- Please bear in mind that our doctors do not routinely propose the use of controlled substances.
Liability Limitation
- To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, GP Appointment and its clinicians are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from use of our platform.
- Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the consultation.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for any liability that cannot legally be excluded.
Intellectual Property
All website content, graphics, text, logos, and software are the property of GP Appointment or its licensors. You may not copy, reproduce, or redistribute any material without written consent.
